Environmental Health and Safety Program/Project/Training Support
CJS provides a broad spectrum of EHS support services to include: developing, implementing, and managing our clients' Injury Illness Plan (IIPP), Hazardous Materials Management programs, and Asbestos and Lead Management; performing Compliance Audits and Surveys; developing Respirator Protection programs; and conducting EHS training.
Environmental, Health, and Safety Compliance Support
CJS services include: Reviewing all aspects of a client's chemical and product safety, storage and usage; Inspecting MSDS records maintenance, posting and retention; Inspecting and auditing employee training records related to hazard communication, chemical hygiene, lab safety, and hazardous materials handling; Providing OHSA compliant employee training and refresher training; Responding to questions regarding new processes and procedures; And maintaining liaisons with various regulatory agencies and assisting with hazardous waste records.
Remediation Project Support
CJS provides complete project support to include: Site Assessments; Bid Specifications; Remediation Oversight; Submittal for Environmental Closure; Preparing Underground Tank Fund Reimbursement Application; and Monitoring Well Installation, Maintenance, and Abandonment.
Chemical Bar-coding Inventory Management Systems
CJS offers a unique service that allows each client to track chemicals by: chemical name; product name; Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number; location; container number; quantity; shelf life; Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) availability; and other field choices requested by the client. This system uses barcode technology and is available either as a stand-alone database, or can be web-based for remote access and updating. This inventory management system promotes better chemical management, reduces chemical purchase and inventory, and minimizes disposal of outdated chemicals.
